Dolls

Welcome to the Sawdust Cabin, where we love to create unique, one of a kind dolls and other primitive and old fashioned items. Some of the dolls are handsculpted out of a cedar sawdust clay. The arms, legs, and head are jointed so they are moveable. We hand make the clothing for the dolls and coffee die them for a primitive antique look. Many items are stuffed with cedar sawdust and have the unique cedar aroma.

Take a step back in time to the historic Old Dyer Store, c. 1892, now affectionately known as Bessie Mae's. Located in the beautiful North Georgia town of Dahlonega. We have 4 rooms of amazing primitive and country home decor. The best candles on the market, bath and body, vintage kitchen, old and new seasonal, too much to list. Visit us Soon online or at the store.

We offer a large selection of lamps and lights, along with several raggedys. Most items are styled with Country in mind and some Victorian too. Our lights create wonderful night lights or add just the right soft glow for that special dark corner of any room. Our lights and other items also make perfect gifts for all occasions.

So glad you stopped by! I am located in Texas and have been in business for over 12 years. I love decorating my own home and providing items others can use to make their house a home. I hope you enjoy browsing through our large selection of home decor, including country, primitive, western...and gift items. Check back often for new items to be added.

Welcome to Lucy's Lazy Dayz Primitives, home of the finest handmade primitive dolls. These primitives, handmade by Lucy, are usually rag stuffed, and often have needle sculpted or hand embroidered faces. Nearly all are Lucy's original designs.
